Kids loved playing on the fitness machines on the grass verges. Shame the Martello Tower wasnt open though. This place has loads of atmosphere and great food at a fair price. I have been meaning to write this review for Thanks John B Hope you'll be able to sit outside with us again really soon!!!! Stay safe Pete. It was a relatively quiet night due to the date 17th March and pandemic restrictions, however we had an excellent meal. Service was very good with pleasant staff and quiet music. Very poor food and presentation was awful.
On the plus side the service was friendly. Will not be going back here!! BUT breakfast was disappointing.

We are regulars and in particular love having our breakfast here on Saturday after the park run. However, recently we have been waiting to be seated even when there are seats available. Today, there were numerous tables available but we were told to wait in There is an easy solution to this before you start losing business Got here early to get a table for 6.
Excellent as usual. Great service. Sunday papers available to read and great choice of food. All cooked to order and delivered with a smile. All the usual egg dishes and pancakes, fruit and pastries. Marvellous spot. I have eaten here before with my girlfriend, they serve lovely and very flavor some food. When it did come I was served eggs that were covered in avocado with dried out bacon and sausages.
My girlfriend was served cold pancakes with dried out bacon also. They probably took in too many customers then they could handle. You need to look after the customers you have already taken in than always looking to cram more people in and putting your kitchen staff under more and more pressure.
