Caroline was such a wonderful host and the accommodations greatly surpassed our expectations. The rooms were newly renovated, clean, stylish and comfy. The overall house was the same. Caroline has plenty of great tips for local attractions and restaurants. The overall quality was very high and they stay was a joy.

On arrival the host Aideen had left us scones and there was milk in the fridge which was a nice touch. The location is perfect and within easy walking distance of the town centre with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and perfect for exploring the castle and nearby pitch and putt course. There is a bar just down the road from the property with Sky and BT sports and a very nice atmosphere. Overall I would say this house was perfect for our family stay and would gladly rent again the next we we visit. Trim is a peaceful and picturesque area. I like the river a lot. There are quite many areas with grass and the design of the houses is nice. It is quite easy to get around Trim. You can go to pubs and visit the castle. Plenty of historic sights but all close together do really can be done in a day however Trim is good base to travel yo other areas of boyne valley and is a sizeable town so plenty of dining options etc Covid permitting g. Very nice area, the Castle walk is really good, due to Covid 19 restrictions we were unable to go inside the Castle. The Trim Castle hotel was in a great location, and we would certainly stay there again.
Trim is a beautiful place to visit. Everywhere is within walking distance, fabulous restaurants, we had the most beautiful meal in Franzinis, well done to the staff there, they were so pleasant and professional.

Lovely walks and the town itself is so clean. No litterbugs in Trim. Well done everybody.
Trim a lovely wee village. Lovely views of the castle in centre of the town. We had lovely meal in The Castle cafe along the main Street it was very popular.. Castle view is amazing and lots of lovely land to take a stroll around and take in the views. Would recommend. John Griffin's pub is not too far away from Trim Castle Hotel. This is a little gem of a pub with good music and nice people :.
